My name is Izirlei  aka Junior. I am an embedded systems design engineer focusing on hardware and software. I grew up around the world (Brazil, Mozambique, Kenya) and moved to Quincy, MA to study electrical engineering at Eastern Nazarene College. I also later completed my master’s in electrical and computer engineering at Northeastern University. I currently live in Quincy, MA with my beautiful wife and kids.

I am an engineer at heart, and have worked in various industries including medical devices, consumer electronics, autonomous underwater vehicles, and industrial robotics.

I have a passion for learning and teaching others about engineering in an academic and industry setting.

I have more books than I can read, and love to play music and sports.
